Easy to clean
If you're considering travel cots or bedside cribs make sure they have a mattress cover that is removable that is machine-washable. This will keep it clean and free of spills, spit-up, and leaky diapers. It's an excellent idea to choose one that is easily disassembled and dismantled in parts, to allow you access to all the nooks and crannies to conduct an efficient cleaning and sanitising.
